Loving My Husband Friday is for taking the time to focus on the positives of marriage. A time to build up your marriage and your spouse. Focus on something you love about your husband, something he did to encourage you this week, or just a tip on how to keep your marriage strong. Let your husband know you're bragging on him...everyone loves praise and accolades. Try to spend the rest of your week focusing on all the great traits of your spouse...especially when your tempted to focus on the bad! And don't forget to pray for your husband and marriage as you write your post.Add a link to your post to Mr. Linky. Then pray for the marriages of the others who post, and give each other a little encouragement to keep our marriages strong!

Today, I love that my husband knows all about me and still loves me.
I love that other people choose him for important roles in the community and to support the local school, because they see his leadership skills, "people skills", firendliness, integrity,. . .Christian characteristics.
I love looking back at old pictures from the time we began our family to now. Today, I want to focus on the present and the future, on helping our family to continue to grow, as a Christian family.
Valencia's assignment today, at
is to share links with tips that help make your house a home.
I am in total agreement with Valencia about her philosophy of homemaking as a ministry, but she really amazes me with how she does it with a large family.
I am not as organized as Flylady, Valencia and many of you. I do try.
Flylady says "It starts with a clean sink." That is true. I love that my husband cleans my sink for me sometimes.
I am learning that what makes my house a home is when Mama is smiling, when I let them in the kitchen with me or when I sit down with them for a game of Farkle or something else, a movie, a really good talk, Bible study and prayer.
I do love being Wife and Mom!
How 'bout you?
It sounds like God provided you with just the right husband...like we could expect anything less when we follow his leading. :) Praying for your marriage!
ReplyDeleteOur husbands are so accepting of us warts and all aren't they? My hubby loves me even when I have my pjs on and need a shower!
ReplyDeleteI tried Flylady but felt pressured to keep on top of everything! I love how you look at the important things in life such as spending time with the family.
So glad for hubby's who love us "as is"! Prayers for you and your hubby!
