SPIRITUAL SUNDAY-SUNDAY SONG-SCRIPTURE MEMORY MONDAY

REVELATION SONG

Worthy is the
Lamb who was slain
Holy, Holy, is He
Sing a new song,
to Him who sits on
Heaven's Mercy Seat
[Repeat 2x]
(Chorus)Holy, Holy, Holy
Is the Lord God Almighty
Who was, and is, and is to come
With all creation I sing:
Praise to the King of Kings!
You are my everything,
And I will adore You…! Yeah!
Clothed in rainbows, of living color
Flashes of lightning, rolls of thunder
Blessing and honor, strength and
Glory and power be
To You the Only Wise King, Yeah
(Chorus)Holy, Holy, Holy
Is the Lord God Almighty
Who was, and is, and is to come, yeah
With all creation I sing:
Praise to the King of Kings!
You are my everything,
And – I - will - adore You! Yeah!
Filled with wonder, Awestruck wonder
At the mention of Your Name
Jesus, Your Name is Power
Breath, and Living Water
Such a marvelous mysteryYeah...
(Chorus)Holy, Holy, Holy
Is the Lord God Almighty
Who was, and is, and is to come, yeah
With all creation I sing:
Praise to the King of Kings!
You are my everything,
And – I - will - adore You!
Holy, Holy, Holy
Is the Lord God Almighty
Who was, and is, and is to come,
With all creation I sing:
Praise to the King of Kings!
You are my everything, And – I - will - adore YOU…
(Chorus) (Repeat at a cappella)
Come up lift up His Name
To the King of Kings…We will adore YOU
Lord…King of heaven and earth
King Jesus, King Jesus
Aleluya, aleluya, aleluya!
Majesty, awestruck Honor
And Power and Strength and Dominion
To You Lord, To the King, to King
To the King of Glory
(Singer: Kari Jobe)
For my Scripture Memory, I am going to try
to memorize Luke 2:1-20, the story of Jesus' birth.
I am going to try to be able to recite the whole story, from beginning to end,
before Christmas.
I'm not planning to replace my Mom
during the Family Celebration.
I just want to be able to say it in my head and heart with her.
I want to be able to recite the whole story
for my grandchildren in the future.
I am going to work very hard on commiting this special
true story to memory.
Here are just a few special verses
from the middle of this passage:
verse 11
Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth, peace to men
who are pleasing Him.
verses 16-20
So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph,
and the baby, who was lying in the manger.
When they had seen Him,
they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child,
and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.
But Mary treasured up all these things
and pondered them in her heart.
The shepherds returned,
glorifying and praising God,
for all the things they had heard and seen,
which were just as they had been told.
I hope that we can all be praising God and spreading the Word.
Have a blessed week, and be sure to
go read other heartfelt, encouraging
posts at Spiritual Sundays.

  5. Hi Sandy,
Revelation Song is one of my favorite songs right now. And I really like your idea of memorizing the Christmas story. I can't help but think of Linus reciting it to Charlie Brown when I hear it in the King James Version.
