With two grown children, and my third (youngest) being almost half way through his sophomore year of high school, I'm already at that "someday" time that I miss EVERYTHING, well almost everything, about them being at home.
The specific moments with Jase this week, that I'm gonna miss, are. . .
hearing him just naturally sing praise songs from his heart, in the house, and
us praying together.
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord;
let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before Him with
thanksgiving
and extol Him with music and song.
For the Lord is the great God,
the great King above all gods.
In His hand are the depths of the earth,
and the mountain peaks belong to Him.
The sea is His, for He made it,
and His hands formed the dry land.
Come, let us bow down in worship,
let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;
for He is our God
and we are the people of His pasture;
the flock under His care.

I love the Psalm you shared here. Actually I guess I love all the Psalms and I'm glad you chose this one. And, as you said earlier in the post, time is short and passing quickly. Believe me, the older you get the faster it passes. Thank you for sharing with us on Spiritual Sundays.

Great Psalm. Thanks for sharing. Yes, time is swiftly passing by. I enjoyed just sitting here reading this Psalm and thinking about the greatness of such a good God and praising Him.
