I left the comment, but wanted to share here, too.
Of course, the best gift any of us can receive is our salvation.
After that, the best gift that I received was that my husband proposed to me on his birthday, Dec. 20, 1981, and gave me my engagement ring.
Then, 16 years later, he gave me another ring, with more diamonds, that he wanted to replace my wedding set. I quit wearing my small wedding set for a while, but now I wear it on my right hand.
Really, the best gift after salvation, is that my parents modeled a Christian marriage, and God has blessed me with a strong marriage.
