Loving My Husband Friday is for taking the time to focus on the positives of marriage. A time to build up your marriage and your spouse. Focus on something you love about your husband, something he did to encourage you this week, or just a tip on how to keep your marriage strong. Let your husband know you're bragging on him...everyone loves praise and accolades. Try to spend the rest of your week focusing on all the great traits of your spouse...especially when your tempted to focus on the bad! And don't forget to pray for your husband and marriage as you write your post.Add a link to your post to Mr. Linky. Then pray for the marriages of the others who post, and give each other a little encouragement to keep our marriages strong!Link up at

The acrostics above were written in the Fall of '83 for my Children's Literature college class after 1 year of marriage, and the picture is from the Spring of 1982, or the Fall of 1981. Everything that I wrote then is still why I love my husband today. . .I love him more than anything or anyone else, except our God, and I love that he is the wonderful spiritual leader of our family.

  1. Sandy! I love the poem written back then and the fact that it still rings true today. What a testimony of your marriage!

  2. How awesome Sandy! I'm praying for your marriage.

  3. Thanks for sharing the acrostics and sharing about your love for your husband. I participated in this meme for the first time this week. You can see what I wrote by clicking here.

BTW, I went to OBU, too! Graduated in '93. :)
