THANKFUL Thursday

This week, I am thankful that I was led by Loren to Angel's new meme "Why I Count It All JOY Wednesday". It is a perfect prelude to Thankful Thursday! I am also thankful that I met 3 new blogging friends, because of that meme!

"Come, let us sing for JOY to the Lord;

let us shout aloud to the Rock of our Salvation.

Let us come before Him with

THANKSGIVING

and extol Him,

with music and song. "

Psalm 95:1-2NIV

I shared yesterday that my friend, who I AM working with in VBS, had called to say that her husband had changed their vacation plans to be gone that week. Well, she said she woke up this morning, and just told him that she just didn't want to go to Colorado with their friends at the last minute like that. Her son and daughter would miss VBS, and her daughter would miss a whole softball tournament. He didn't mind not going.

So, I am thankful that I will be working together with her, and that her Mom will be helping us, too. I am thankful that we got a lot of planning done today.

I am thankful for doctors, medicine, hospitals, and most of all the power of prayer, and Jesus, our healer!

I am thankful for my Dad, for all the dads in my life, and for our Heavenly Father.

  5. Hi Sandy,

    I love Psalm 95:1-2 too. It is such a precious reminder to give thanks to God and sing praises unto Him. God always works in His mysterious and wonderful ways for us! And thank God for our Heavenly Father and all the loving fathers, especially God-loving fathers. Take care!

    Warm regards,
    Nancie
