Simply Scripture and a Sincere Prayer

I can't think of another title for my post. It's just scripture that is on my mind and my prayer to my Lord.

For all of those effected by the fires and everyone needing God's refuge.:

"I am your refuge and your strength. Even though the earth gives way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, do not fear. I am on ever present help in trouble." Psalm 46: 1-3

My Focus Verse for the rest of this month:

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14 NIV

Other verses, there are so many, God's Word is sooo good!

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievance you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues, put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do; whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3:12-17

Dear Heavenly Father,
I praise You for giving us the reason to celebrate Good Friday and Easter. I am so grateful to you. I thank you for making a way for us to live in Heaven with you forever.
Dear Lord, I repent of my feelings of anger. Please help me to completely do away with those feelings and to be able to communicate your love to everyone I interact with.
I acknowledge Your presence in my life.
Dear Lord, I pray for every person effected by all of the fires going on right now. Please be with those who have lost loved ones and their homes. Please be with the firefighters and keep them safe.
Dear Lord, I pray for myself that you will continue to help me work on my verbal communication skills and to have a gentle spirit.
I pray that you will equip me to do all that You have called me to do.
I thank you again for all that you have blessed me with.
In Jesus Name I Pray
