MEMORIAL DAY-SCRIPTURE MEMORY MONDAY. . .

Today, Monday, Memorial Day, the day before the 1st, the week of my birthday,
as I pondered what scripture to choose to focus on for memory, I chose these 2 to work on together.
I will remember the deeds of the Lord;
yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago,
I will meditate on all your works
and consider all your mighty deeds.
Psalm 77:11-12NIV
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,
and all these things will be given to you as well.
Matthew 6:33NIV
I pray that you are having a special day
of remembering how God has worked in your life
and blessed you,
and maybe decorating a grave of a loved one,
and remembering their touch on your life,
and remembering the sacrifices that
our service men and women have made for us,
and the sacrifice that Jesus made for us,
and celebrating life with your family today!

If you didn't come here from Spiritual Sundays, go here! You will be so blessed, and you can link up your own post, too. Thank you so much, Charlotte and Ginger for hosting Spiritual Sundays and to all the others who link up such great heartfelt, encouraging posts!

  5. Hi Sandy, I love the new look of your blog, beautiful. I am so so sorry I have allowed Psalm Saturday to slide. I am rubbish! My pace of life has changed entirely since having one child at school. I don't get much time to blog and my hubby is at home in the evenings now so that takes up all my time!! I am getting back into the swing of things now and have redesigned my blog a little. Speak soon!

  6. Happy pre-birthday!

I have chosen two also because I am doing the study Experiencing God and they have a verse for each week.

Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
    Psalm 20:7

Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God
    with all your heart and
    with all your soul and
    with all your mind.'
This is the first and greatest commandment."
    Matthew 22:37-38
